About The Author

Mr. Paravalos is a structural engineer and architectural historian with experience in design, inspection, assessment, restoration and rehabilitation of various historic, transportation and public works facilities.  He has been involved in historic preservation efforts and building moves in New England, and has consulted for the History Channel's, Mega Movers TV show as an expert structural engineer and architectural historian.

He has returned from his two-year residence in London, UK where he researched Georgian London, Bath and Dubland, Ireland for his upcoming publication.  He currently resides in Westwood, MA as a member of the Westwood Historical Commission, and continues to consult on historic preservation projects through his firm, Historic Assessment and Preservation, LLC (HA&P,LLC).
